Changed For The Better

Round table junior high freestyle raps at lunch. And we actually thought we could rap. But we just copied the flows and styles of our favorite rappers. I laugh now but we were so serious. We all claimed the best rapper out of our crew but deep down all of us knew that we were terrible rappers. I’m thankful none of us really aspired to be rappers.

After junior high we all grew into our own. We all seperated but not out of anger. We all changed for the better….I think…and matured. I got more into history and poetry. A couple became sneakerheads which was the furthest thing from my mind. And the rest I have no idea what they’re doing.

Now we all have different friends, crews, and interests. We changed, no more junior high luch table freestlyes. I’m just happy none of us try to rap in public anymore.
