The prosecutor who refused to charge the race soldier who killed Tamir Rice, has rejected a request from the Cleveland NAACP. The request, to release the grand jury testimony in the murder case of Tamir Rice.
Hardiman from the NAACP said that the prosecutor chose to release “bits and pieces” of the testimony. He wanted to put out an agenda by releasing certain evidence, to make Tamir look like a “criminal”. If you’re going to release any of the testimony just release all of the testimony. The prosecutor added that releasing any further testimony would subject the grand jury to “hate mail and death threats”. Well releasing the bits and pieces of the testimony you already released didn’t put the grand jury at risk? Oh wait, you released those pieces of the testimony to try to criminalize a 12 year old boy.
