Dear, Miss America Part III : War

Dear, Miss America

Every war you entered or have gotten yourself into my ancestors, family, and friends have also been present in the time of war. Some entered war with the hopeless but strong wish of freedom from your chains. After those wars they came to the realization to the hurtful but harsh reality that would remain 2nd or 3rd class citizens.

I don’t condem those who participated in those wars becasue they thought that if they fought for their country they would be free. After the wars they realized that even though they fought, gave blood & sweat, tears soon were produced when they remained disenfranchised and killed at will.

So the question has to be asked. If you have the choice, should you fight for a country that has proven that it doesn’t give a fuck about you? I say you should have more pride than to fight for a country that has shown you no love. I refuse to fight for you Miss America. You might ask why? I’m smart enough to know that you wouldn’t do the same for me.
